The management of Nnewi United has stated that the club is yet announce a resumption date for their pre-season program ahead the new Nigeria National League 2021/2022 season.


OyoSportsNews gathered that there is an ongoing renovation at the club camp which is aimed to improving the players welfare standard.

A club official hinted that the ongoing work would soon be completed and reopened for the benefits of players and officials.

The delegation made up of 10 players and three officials left the shores of Nigeria via a flight from the international wing of the Muritala Mohammad Airport on Tuesday for Lisbon. Prince Ademola Olawepo Shennowo, President of the fast-growing football academy gave an insight into the programme details.  "The scouting program in Portugal is tagged Club Athlectico Trial and it will run for one month.
