Oyo Coaches Unveil New Association, Executive, BOT members

Grassroots Football Talents Developers Association of Nigeria (GRAFTADEAN) President, Coach Lawal Abiodun has promised football lovers in and outside Oyo state of tremendous positive development in the round leather game.


Coach Abiodun, at the unveiling event of the new brand held at the Railway Recreational Club Ibadan on Friday, November 5th, 2021 pointed out that the new association is aimed at discovering and developing football talents at the grassroots.

Abiodun, who is the head of Shafaudeen Patriot FC and assistant coach of Shooting Stars U-15 team explained that the new association is not to rival or antagonize the existing Football Coaches Association in the state chapter.



"I welcome all media practitioners to this unveiling event, this has been a plan since 2019. And finally, it was dream come true. I'm happy to inform you that the association is affiliated to Oyo State Football Association and Ministry of Youth and Sports. In fact, we've been registered under by the Federal Government through the corporate affairs commission (166549 registered number) .



He continued; "We are not to rival or antagonize the state coaches association or state FA. We even wrote the state FA, coaches association about our plans, aims, objectives, vission and mission. We are meant for administration and management of football at the grassroots level."



At the unveiling event, the association board of trustees and executive members were introduced;

Speaking at the press briefing, Mr John Kayode expressed his happiness for the birth of Grassroots Football Talents Developers Association of Nigeria (GRAFTADEAN) and charged the executices to discover, develop and take Oyo state football to greater heights.
