The Ibadan based club set a very unwanted record with no single first half win in their last eight home games at the Nigeria Professional Football League 2021/22.
This season in the Nigeria Professional Football League, Shooting Stars' form is Very Poor overall with 5 wins, 5 draws, and 6 losses after matchday 16. This performance currently places Shooting Stars at 12th out of 20 teams in the NPFL Table.
Shooting Stars' home form is very poor with the following results : 4 wins and 4 draws. And their away form is considered very poor, as a result of 1 win, 1 draw, and 6 losses.
Shooting Stars have scored a total of 16 goals (with 2 penalties) at the ongoing NPFL season and conceded 16 goals.
To give you some idea of how bad their record is when they trail at half-time most especially at the Lekan Salami stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan.
Consider this. Since that final of the second edition of Gov Seyi Makinde pre-season tournament, Shooting Stars have been behind twice [against the defending champion Akwa United 0-1 and Enugu Rangers 0-1) and six draws at halftime.
Here is the outcome of those games:
