NNL: CROWN FC TARGET AWAY WIN OVER ROVERS

Nigeria National League side Crown FC of Ogbomoso will hope to build on their impressive start of the season when they play Rovers of Calabar in the matchday seven at Ikom township stadium tomorrow, Sunday, March 27, 2022.The Ajilete Warriors in thier last five fixtures accrued eight points with two away draws, two home wins. Their first defeat was against Abia Comets which ended 3-1 at Umuahia township stadium.
The Ajilete Warriors last visit to Rovers of Calabar dated November 30, 2019 ended with two unreplied goals in favour of the Calabar based side. 11th and 63rd minutes goals courtesy of Fabby Clark and Omini Fabian sealed a comfortable 2-0 victory.
This will be Crown FC fourth away match at the ongoing Nigeria National League 2021/22 season and the head coach of the side, Anthony Encho is optimistic of picking first three points on the road.
Encho told OyoSportsNews on Saturday morning: "I strongly believed victory is what we are looking up because my boys are hungry. Our desire is to pick away points as soon as possible and by His grace we shall achieve it. We are going there to give all our best and leave the rest to God."
Crown FC last match against Bayelsa United were put on hold by the NNL body after the club were initially put on BYE a week after Abia Comets loss.
Echo confirmed to OyoSportsNews that his players are fit and ready for Rovers' match.
'We played some friendlies last week and I was very happy because I saw some of my players that I was expecting more from them, I seized the opportunity to working on some areas that needed adjustment and it really helped."
Crown FC are four points behind table leader, Warri Wolves with eight points in five games. The Ajilete Warriors are currently 7th position on the Nigeria National League Southern Conference B2 standings.
