A fully-fit Shooting Stars squad is a "good situation" to have ahead of the Nigeria Professional Football League second round scheduled to resume April 3rd, 2022.
OyoSportsNews reliably gathered that all Shooting Stars players are back from injury except one player.
Anietie Uko (muscle strain), Ope Olufemi (knee), Gafar Olafimihan (knock), Isiaka Mutiu (ankle), Seyi Okeowo (fever) Ebenezer Odeyemi (toe), and Oyetoro Elijah all attended 3SC training session.
Agoye has a full squad at his disposal with club captain Abiodun Omololu and assistant Abbey Benson both looking fresh for the resumption of NPFL. Current team top scorer, Ayo Adejubu (3goals), Akilu Mohammed (2goals), Wasiu Alalade (2goals), and Gafar Olafimihan (2goals), were all spotted at the training session.
"As I said after Anietie Uko's injury that our medical staffs are on top of their games, accessing these players. It's a good situation to have them with us. It helps that we have options and solutions for different problems," Agoye told OyoSportsNews.
On Sunday, Shooting Stars will be at Lafia City Stadium for NPFL matchday 20 against Nasarawa United. The Oluyole Warriors pipped the Solid Miners 1-0 to round off the first round courtesy of Anietie Uko 14th minute rocket shot.
