Olatunbosun impressed on fourth Nigeria National League consecutive start for Crown FC at the ongoing season as the Ajilete Warriors defeated visiting Apex Krane FC at the LAUTECH football pitch with 2-1.

With all eyes on Meshach Dennis who had scored three goals in three matches before today's matchday four fixture, Oginni Olatunbosun was exceptional right from the kick-off to the final whistle. The youngster did not disappoint, as he brilliantly curl home the opener via his left foot from a difficult area to give Crown FC the lead at the 54th minute.

That opener seemed to deflate Apex Krane, who never came out to create attacking threats at the second half with Sodiq Alamayo dancing through their defence before powering a shot in the box, four minutes after the first goal to make it 2-0.

Speaking to OyoSportsNews after the match, Oginni Olatunbosun said: "It was a difficult first half, we created chances but couldn't score due to some mistakes. The coach told us where we got it wrong and what to do in the second half and to God be the glory, we made it."

Oginni, who was the second top scorer last season also revealed why he ran to Sunny Odudu for joint jubilation immediately after he scored.

"Odudu is my best best and teammates, we had little misunderstanding few days ago and we sorted it out yesterday, he told me I'm going to score today after we setteled our rancour and it did happen - that was why I ran to him to show my love and spirit of friendship.
