ITESIWAJU RANGERS STUN KAJOLA VILLA 1-0 TO ADVANCE TO QUATERFINALS

Kajola Villa yesterday at the Iseyin District Grammar School (IDGS) were dumped out at the ongoing Peller Unity Cup Season II by Itesiwaju Rangers after turning in a miserable display in front of football lovers who came to the venue to enjoy real soccer.
 The two sides kicked off the round of 16 encounter on a high notes, but were unable to convert several scoring chances at the first 45minute.
After a goalless first half results, midfielder Ogunsaki Dayo tapped in the only goal at the 69th minute after a rough display in the box to give Itesiwaju Rangers the much needed lead. Efforts made by Kajola Villa to get the leveller were fruitless as thier unimpressive performance cost them at the final third.
After two matches at the round of 16 fixtures, Itesiwaju Lions and Itesiwaju Rangers have qualifed to the round of 8.
Meanwhile, action continues today at ADS Primary school, Tede, Saki West Rovers will trade tackles with Kajola Blues by 3:30pm.
