Shooting Stars top official has said that urgent steps have been taken to beef up security at the Lekan Salami stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan on Sunday when the team host former league champion, Kano Pillars at the Nigeria Professional Football League matchday 18. The top official gave the assurance at his residence early Thursday morning during his daily roadwork excercise. The official stated that the reports received after Enugu Rangers' 1-1 home draw gave them new strategies and solutions before pillars encounter. He also assured people of their properties.

Shooting Stars host Kano Pillars on Sunday, 7pm at the Lekan Salami stadium Adamasingba Ibadan at the Nigeria Professional Football League matchday 18. The match according to the club media officer, Tosin Omojola will be the second home match for the Oluyole Warriors under floodlight.
