Edith Olumide Agoye believed his Shooting Stars side have gradually improved in some areas especially in the last three weeks but admitted that they still have room for improvement following their back to back win at home against Kano Pillars and Nasarawa United which saw them on 9th position at the NPFL standings.
The Oluyole Warriors on Sunday evening defeated the Solid Miners by alone goal courtesy of Aniete Uko's 14th minute strike outside the box. The goal, however, gave Shooting Stars maximum three points as League Management Company ordered a two weeks break after first round.
Edith Agoye while speaking to newsmen after the match said: "Naturally, we look to improve at every opportunity you have, there was a time we were not scoring - but now; we are scoring. There was a time we are not scoring in the first half of every game, there was a time we need to get back into the game by equalizing towards the die minutes. But now, we are scoring the goals and able to manage the game to the end, I think that's a bit of improvement, but we still look to improve further."
"We need to improve on every aspect, we have two weeks to improve every aspect that deserves improvement."
The Nigeria Professional Football League resumes April 3rd and Shooting Stars next match is on April 3rd at Lafia City Stadium, Lafia against Nasarawa United.
