Shooting Stars midfield maestro Aniete Uko has eased concerns on the injury he picked up last night when the Oluyole Warriors host Kano Pillars at the Lekan Salami stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan of the Nigeria Professional Football League matchday 18 fixture.

The Ibadan soccer lords moved two steps ahead on the Nigeria Professional Football League standings, thanks to Uche Ezeala's 14th minute strike.

Aniete was replaced at the 84th minutes as he appeared to have had a knock on his right leg. His replacement left the fans worried after a brilliant performance.

"Firstly, the victory over Kano Pillars is a big relief for us, I mean the entire players and coaches - most especially for our fans who had wanted us to put smiles on their faces. I feel very okay as I speak to you, it was just a minor muscle strain and I will be available for weekend match by God grace.

Shooting Stars next game is against Nasarawa United at the Lekan Salami stadium, Adamasingba which will wrap up the first stanza of the 2021/22 NPFL season.
