After an action in the middle, Godts got to the ball in the box, who hit the top corner of the goal with his left foot.
In the 30th minute, Daniel Toula chased after a long ball behind the defense, in a duel with the outrunning goalkeeper Panders, he was the first to the ball, but the Genku goalkeeper was able to stop our attacker at the last moment.
The 42nd minute brought a good shot by the visiting defender De Grand from a free kick, but his shot was stopped by the post.
And so came the red and white joy! Mikuláš Konečný crossed from the right side, Boluwatife Ogungbayi was completely unguarded on the edge of the box , who processed the ball perfectly and returned the Slavists' lead - 2:1 with a precise shot to the post. It ended 2-1 at the first half.
However, Racing Genk eventually found their rhythm and hit back twice with Mika Godts and Faissal Al Mazyani scoring at the 80th and 90+4 minutes to end the 2-4 and 4-5 on aggregate.
