OFFICIAL: YUSSUF TAIYE JOINS GOMBE UNITED FROM CROWN FC

Crown FC of Ogbomoso winger Yussuf Abdulateef Taiye has signed for Nigeria Professional Football League side, Gombe United.
Taiye penned a year deal with the Savannah scorpions ahead of the Nigeria Professional Football League 2022/23 season after providing eight assists and six league goals for the Ajilete Warriors last season.
Four of his league goals gave Crown FC a dramatic comeback win at home and away win and helped them finish second on the Nigeria National League (NNL) group B2 standings behind Bayelsa United.
This will be Taiye's first spell in the Nigeria Professional Football League after joining Crown FC from Gateway United FC of Abeokuta.
Following his move to the Pantami Stadium,
Gombe, Taiye told OyoSportsNews that he is excited by another opportunity to play in the Premier League, especially for a historic club like the Savannah Scorpions and he will be doing his best to help his new club achieve their objectives under Coach Aliyu Zubairu.
Meanwhile, the management of Gombe United have announced the signing of twelve new players ahead of the Nigeria Professional Football League season.
