AZEEZ AKINTUNDE DOUBLE INSPIRES 3SC TO PRE-SEASON TROPHY OVER CROWN FC

Azeez Akintunde 'Mikel' struck two goals in the second half to fire Shooting Stars to a 2-0 victory against Crown FC of Ogbomoso at the grand finale of Seyi Makinde Football Volunteer Movement.
The new signing came in the second half, charging forward from midfield before finding the back of the net from the edge of the box to make it 1-0 four minutes after an hour mark.
Having seen Bala Akintunde, Malomo Taofeeq and Ayo Adejubu missed scoring chances at the first half, Azeez Akintunde took matters into his own hands and gave the Ibadan Soccer Lords the opener at the 64th minute.
Two minutes before the regulation time, the Ibadan born attacking midfielder was unleashed by a fine Ajani Ibrahim through-ball and made no mistake in dispatching past Crown FC goalkeeper Adeniyi Adejare from a tight angle to give 3SC a deserved win.
Shooting Stars emerged winner at the first edition of Seyi Makinde Football Volunteer Movement, another pre-season trophy in thier cabinet under Head Coach Gbenga Ogunbote.
