SHINA PELLER LAUNCHES FOOTBALL CLUB IN ISEYIN

Honourable Shina Abiola Peller, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Aquila Group of Companies and Club Quilox has ventured into the football business in Nigeria.

Hon Peller, a member of the Federal House of Representative - representing the [Iseyin, Itesiwaju, Iwajowa, Kajola Federal Constituency in Oyo State] has officially launched 'Iseyin Rocks Football Club' which will soon be competing in the Nigeria Football League.

While performing the unveiling ceremony at his Iseyin residence on Tuesday, Hon Peller explained that the club is for the loving people of Oke Ogun which covers the ten local governments and Nigeria at large.

"As I said earlier, my first constituency is the youths because we have more youths in the world today. In Nigeria, we have more than 75percent youths because of the existence of technology, a young Nigeria youth right now is competing directly with someone in the UK, US and South Korea because of technology. It is until we have government that can make youths proud and provide enabling environment to stand shoulder to shoulder with other peers around the world then Nigeria is not going anywhere if we can't achieve that"

"You can see that I've engaged youths into a lot of development programs, we create generation initiatives that we engaged over one thousand youths. Also, I know the importance of football to drive unity among diverse communities and also to engage youths."

"I know the importance of having our own football club in Oke Ogun and I've decided the same way I'm managing businesses that has strived, that same 

business acumen will be used to manage the club. 

"Today, we will be lunching our football club in Oke Ogun which is our thing and our intention is to engage our youths. We want something that is continuous and sustainability and we must also create a business development into it." He concluded.
