OGUNBOTE'S MESSAGE TO 3SC FANS BEFORE CROWN FC MATCH

Shooting Stars will be at the Lekan Salami stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan today (Sunday) as they take on local rival Crown FC of Ogbomoso in the final of Seyi Makinde Football Volunteer Movement.
The winner in the first edition of four invitational tournament will be on the line in the game. Shooting Stars are currently preparing for the Nigeria Professional Football League 2022/23 while Crown FC will also look to recruit new legs after about eleven of their regular players had left NPFL clubs.
Speaking to OyoSportsNews, Shooting Stars Head Coach Gbenga Ogunbote said the technical crew is open to objective criticism as the kick-off date for the Nigeria Professional Football is still in the dark.
"I will leave the assessment of the team to the fans and supporters, we are open to objective criticism and that we make us better. All I have to say for now is that Shooting Stars is a team in progress, we are still fine-tuning the team to make it look like what people expect. We also want to make issue out of the pre-season tournament, we want to play and represent well."
For the first time, Crown FC Head Coach Anthony Encho will be facing Gbenga Ogunbote's Shooting Stars after thier shock defeat to Oyo state housing corporation FC at the state Aiteo cup. The match will kick-off 4pm.
