3SC MANAGEMENT VISITS U23 NATIONAL TEAM

The management of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) on Wednesday evening, visited the U-23 national team, who are currently camped in the Oyo State capital, ahead of this month's U-23 African Nations Cup qualifier against Tanzania.
Led by the Executive Chairman, Babatunde Olaniyan Akoro, accompanied by the Acting General Manager/ Team Manager of the club, Dimeji Lawal, the Director of Administration,, Alhaji Olapade Rahman and the Technical Adviser of the Oluyole Warriors', Gbenga Ogunbote, the 3SC management made the visit before the commencement of Wednesday's evening training session.
Speaking during the visit, Honourable Olaniyan, said it was the club's way of welcoming the U-23 national team to Ibadan and also to show its support to the team, assuring the Olympic Eagles of total support of soccer loving people of Ibadan and Oyo State in general.
The management later presented the club's sourvenir to the team.
Receiving the 3SC management on behalf of the U-23 Eagles, coach Salsu Yusuf, expressed appreciation to the management of the Oluyole Warriors for the visit and the reception accorded the team since it resumed camping in the pacesetter state.Chairman, Oyo State Sports Council, Honourable Gbenga Adewusi Arole, the General Manager, Oyo State Sports Council, Mr Gboyega Makinde, the Chairman, Oyo State Football Association, Oba James Odeniran, the Secretary, Oyo State FA, Mr Kehinde Ojelowo, other members of the Oyo FA board as well as other stakeholders were also on ground to officially welcome the team to the ancient city of Ibadan.
