Crown FC of Ogbomoso Head Coach Anthony Encho has said that he is expecting a "special" final at the grand finale of Seyi Makinde Football Volunteer Movement.
Crown FC on Wednesday secured a final ticket at the LAUTECH football pitch, Ogbomoso after thrashing Oyo State Housing Corporation FC by 4-0. Kayode Ode, Mojeed Adekunle, Adeyi Tobi and Jedege Anthony were all on the score sheet for the Ajilete Warriors as they will confront Shooting Stars on Sunday at the Lekan Salami stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan.
Recall that Shooting Stars last Sunday reclaimed their local bragging rights over Saki United with two unreplied goals at Saki Township stadium, Saki.
Anthony Encho, who led Crown FC to second position on the Nigeria National League NNL group B2 standings believed the two finalist are teams to watch despite most of his players had left for greener pastures.
"It is going to be special". He begins "Special in the sense that the two teams are giants football clubs in Oyo state and owned by the Oyo state government. I heard about the previous derby matches before my arrival at the club as head coach and it was a good memories at the state FA cup final and league matches. Shooting Stars are the biggest club in Oyo state and for us (Crown FC), we are not pushover, Shooting Stars started preparations for the NPFL early, I think two months ago but we just resumed a week ago, this is not an excuse for tomorrow's match but we are going to put up a good fight and win."
"My players know it's a final match and a winner must emerge, so we are ready to put smiles on faces of our fans, we won't disappoint them. He assured.
