Founder and Chairman, Oyomesi Football Club, Honourable Wakil Oyeleru Oyedemi Esq. has charged his players that for them to be the best among their mates, they must give 200% every time they play for the club.

Honourable Oyedemi made this charge on Saturday during the unveiling ceremony of the club kits, players, coaches, and team bus at the Durbar stadium, Oyo. He said visible total commitment implying patriotic fervour can only help them reach their full potential in the round leather game.

Speaking with OyoSportsNews at the event, Barrister Wakil noted that the players should be proud of themselves for representing the club, which signifies Oyo at large.

"Let me start by congratulating you as players of Oyomesi FC. If anyone tells you this is your limit, tell them you will be bigger than that. This is Oyo town, we don't give credit to loosers or quitters. Anywhere you find yourself with this club badge, remember that people are thinking and expecting more from you."

This is a club where players get monthly salaries, and we have structures in place. The curator, welfare, and other staff know their duties and what are expected from them. You have a camp with at camp commandant, I don't think a team can boast of that, here in Oyo."

"Practically, you have everything at your advantage. You are young, you can run and also have intelligence. All you need now is to use this great opportunity by showing commitment to be victorious. The next time I visit you, I want to see the impact of this discussion, I wish you all the best. 

He also used the opportunity to thank critical stakeholders such as Oyo Referee Council, Oyo Ambassadors, Oyo All Stars, Retired Coaches and players, supporters' club, and Oyo Football Council Association.
