FOOTBALL STAKEHOLDERS TO CONVERGE ON OYO AS OYOMESI FC UNVEIL CLUB KITS, TECHNICAL CREW

As the 2024 Nationwide League One season beckons and teams get into final preparations for the third tier league of the Nigeria Football Federation. One of the newest clubs in the country, Oyomesi Football Club, is set for the unveiling of players, coaching crew, kits, management crew, and the supporters' club to the public.
Oyomesi FC, established by Barrister Wakil Oyeleru Oyedemi is expected to make first league appearance on Sunday with a kick-off match against Ogbomoso United at the Lekan Salami Sports, Ibadan centre.
The unveiling ceremony is scheduled to hold at the Durbar stadium, Oyo on Saturday, April 20th, 2024 at 9.00 am.
A statement made available to OyoSportsNews through the club general manager, Alhaji Babatunde Saheed explained the club's preparations for it debut season in the league which was regarded as the cradle and bedrock of Nigeira grassroot football.
“We are not leaving any stone unturned in ensuring that we have a good outing when officially presenting the team to the public as the formation of this football club marks a historic moment for the people of Oyo town, ending years of anticipation for their very own football team."
“We have carefully picked good players and a result oriented technical crew that formed Oyomesi FC, a football team that will be representing Oyo Alaafin town, just as we have 3SC from Ibadan and Crown FC of Ogbomoso. And this has also provided job opportunities for many of our youths."
Alhaji Babatunde Saheed, a seasoned broadcaster and Chairman, Al Aliyah Hajj & Humurah also called on the illustrious sons and daughters of Oyo town to give massive support to the new football club.
