NLO24: SDK SECURE PRE-SEASON CUP WITH WIN OVER ADAMIMOGO FC

Sult De King Football Club of Ibadan on Wednesday beat Nationwide League One side, Adamimogo FC from Ondo state 2-1 to claim the first edition of NLO/NON LEAGUE CLUBS PRE-SEASON TOURNAMENT.
The 6-day tournament organised by the Oyo State Football Association was to ensure nationwide teams in Oyo state have solid preparations ahead of the nationwide league one season billed to start April 13.
The Ibadan outfit began the tournament with a comfortable 2-1 win over Cornerstone FC at the opening match last week and went unbeaten to wrap up the title. A host of SDK first team players were spectacular and impressive in all five matches en route to the final.
Adamimogo FC made most of the early running in the opening twelve minutes and were unlucky not to take the lead on 11 minutes when Joseph Ochede Ajayi Fabunmi's combined efforts went over the bar and another curler from the edge of the box bounced just wide..
Boosted by the second goal in the second half from the spot after 1-0 lead at halftime. Adamimogo FC was also awarded a penalty to reduce the tally and might well have added another and drawn level only for wasted chaneces by Adamimogo FC striker.
Sult De King FC received a sum of one hundred thousand naira as the winner while Adamimogo FC and Best Talent were rewarded seventy thousand naira and thirty thousand naira, respectively.
