Black Scorpion Football Club Head Coach Niyi Oyekale spoke with OyoSportsNews after his final training session before the match against Black Scorpion FC FC (Sunday, 10am)
"The club is three months old and big thanks to the Chairman of the club for setting up another league club, despite the fact that we have Crown FC and Ogbomoso United in Ogbomoso. We want to make history in our first season at NLO, with the level of preparations, coupled with the pre-season tournament we had in Ibadan, we are certainly sure of securing promotion to the Nigeria National League."
"Big names don't play football, we also have experience league players in the team. We are determined, focus and ready to challenge any team this season."
"I'm excited and impressed with the confidence in the team, I'm also satisfied with the players'recruitment, we are in good shape for the season."

Okikiola helped his side clinch her first ever federation cup title, scoring three goals in the three all draw, Ilaji FC emegerd champions 5-4 on penalties and will represent Oyo state at the National Federation Cup. Before the final match, Okikiola has been a key player for the club after scoring against Crown FC at Durbar stadium in the semi-final match.
