Agunsoye scored the opener on 3rd minutes via a header and netted his second at the 51st minutes. Four minutes later, the forward completed the hat-trick with another strike in the 54 minutes as Sanusi Boys now gathered four points behind leaders Oyomesi FC with six points, while teams still five games remaining.
Afterwards, the tall darked skinned striker gave credit to team-mates.
"It was my first hat trick this season [an emphatic 5-1 win over a league side is massive for me and my team-mates]," he said.
"I owe it to the players I played with, starting from the goalkeeper and the rest of the squad. I can tap the ball into the net but I can't score alone. Thier contributions and build-up from the back gave us the goals. This is for them."
Meanwhile, Ilaji FC Mustapha Bolaji is optimistic his side will grab the sole ticket to the national league next league. He believed the 2-2 draw against Oye Olohun FC in their first league match will not hinder their ambition.
