3SC SUFFERS FIRST DEFEAT OF NLO24 CAMPAIGN

Shooting Stars Team B suffered their first defeat of the ongoing 2023/24 Nationwide League football season, losing all three points to Oyomesi FC at the Lekan Salami Stadium, on Tuesday.
Owolabi Habeeb and Kareem Yusuf both found the net as Oyomesi FC secured three points in matchday two.
Recall that Shooting Stars Team B emerged table leader last season after losing a match to Ilaji FC by alone goal and have made no secret of their promotion target at the ongoing season. Thier quest seems to have suffered a setback with the defeat to Oyomesi FC.
Thier next opponent is against Ogbomoso United on Thursday, April 25 at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan. Time is at 8:00am.

The Oluyole Warriors, after their qualification to round 32 early this morning without kicking the ball, following the refusal of Zamfara United FC to show up for the round of 64 fixture at the Area 3 field, Abuja have been expelled from the oldest football competition in Nigeria. In a letter signed by the director for competition, Ruth David, on behalf of the Nigeria Football Federation General Secretary. Five players who were not registered with the Nigeria Football Federation for this year edition were fielded in today's match against Zamfara United.
