OYO AITEO CUP: CROWN FC BOOTED OUT

Crown FC of Ogbomoso failed to transfer its improved Nigeria National League form to the state Aiteo Cup, losing on penalty shoot-out at the quarter final stage.
The Ajilete Warriors were shocked by Oyo State Housing Corporation FC 3-2 on penalties after a goalless result at the regulation time.
Before the match, Crown FC are considered favourite on paper following thier performance and position on the Nigeria National League group B2 standings. The Oyo State Aiteo Cup has served some surprises at the first stage with Nationwide League One side, Ilaji FC knocked out by OMA Football Academy on May 23rd.
Though, the Ogbomoso based side gave thier best with fifteen attempts and seven on targets but were denied by Housing Corporation FC goalie.
Action continues tomorrow at the Olubadan stadium as Shooting Stars are expected to lock horns with Corner Stones FC .
