AGOYE ADMITS BIG RELIEF AS 3SC PUMMEL LOBI STARS

Shooting Stars Head Coach Edith Olumide Agoye admitted huge “relief” after his side dimmed Lobi Stars of Makurdi with the club latest signing Emmanuel Lucky grabbing brace in a 3-0 win at the Lekan Salami stadium Adamasingba, Ibadan.
It only took Edith Agoye boys three minutes from the kick-off to take the lead after Emmanuel Lucky got this first Shooting Stars goal after three matches. The slim tall forward doubled the tally for the Oluyole Warriors at the 18th minute after connecting with Taofeek Malomo's freekick.
Agoye at the post match interview with newsmen shortly after the match commended the performance of new players brought in at the mid season transfer window but also appealed for more time due to change of environment and new football philosophy.
"The win today is a big relief, big, big relief. To win today is a big sign and it means if Ibadan, Oyo state are united, there is nothing Shooting Stars can't do"
Asked what he meant by the word 'united', Agoye replied newsmen: "Certain things happened all through this week and after that, we are seeing the results. I think it's a very good one and a sign that if everyone if united in all directions, Shooting Stars will be great again."
Esin as he's fondly called hailed the wonderful performance of the new players after four league matches after the Oluyole Warriors secured the signing of eight new players.
"We are very happy that the players came and gave a good account of themselves today, Although, today's game was the fourth game, that shows they need time because they've changed environment, team, coach and many things. Not only the new players, every players did very well today.
Ayo Adejubu, the team current top scorer at the first round of the league got the third goal at the 80th minute for Shooting Stars at the the warriors returned to winning ways.
