Shooting Stars gave Nigeria Professional Football League Champions Rivers United a guard of honour as they took to the pitch for their matchday 37 game at the Lekan Salami stadium, Adamasingba Ibadan.
Before yesterday's match, Rivers United had been declared champion of the Nigeria Professional Football League 2021/2022 season with 71points with four games to roundoff the season.
At the end of the match, Shooting Stars beat Rivers United 3-2. Chijioke Akuneto grabbed brace for the visitors while Emmanuel Lucky, Opeoluwa Olufemi and Moses Omoduemuke were on the score sheet for the Oluyole Warriors.

Okikiola helped his side clinch her first ever federation cup title, scoring three goals in the three all draw, Ilaji FC emegerd champions 5-4 on penalties and will represent Oyo state at the National Federation Cup.
