OYO HOUSING FC COACH HAILS OYO DEPUTY GOVERNOR, BAR. BAYO LAWAL

Oyo State Housing Corporation FC Head Coach, Sanusi Musiliu Kolawole 'Ikerika' has commended Oyo state deputy governor, Barrister Abdulroheem Adebayo Adeleke Lawal for his commitment and support to Oyo State Housing Corporation Football Club, which ensured the club’s successful outing as the Nationwide League One playoff held at Ilorin, Kwara state.
Recall that OYSHC FC were runner-up at both the 2021 GSM Pre-season Tournament and 2022 Oyo State Aiteo Cup. The club which was officially resuscitated on April 2021 by the management of Oyo State Housing Corporation under Barrister Adebayo Lawal before his new position as the state deputy governor secured promotion to Nationwide League One Division II after beating Customs FC from Sagamu and Agbana FC with 1-0 and 3-1 respectively and also played a two-all draw with Fortune FC.
Ilerika in a telephone chat with OyoSportsNews commemded the deputy governor for redeeming his pledge after the team's brilliant performance at the playoff which earned a promotion to NLO division II.
"On behalf of my technical crew a d players, I want to specially appreciate the deputy governor of Oyo State, Barrister Adebayo Lawal for his supports before, during and after our trip to Ilorin for NLO playoff. He made promises concerning some allowances and other expenses and I can boldly say he had fulfilled his pledge. The players and the entire crew are happy with this development and I believe it will help the team ahead Aiteo Cup match against Jigawa Golden Stars this weekend.
Meanwhile, Oyo State Housing Corporation FC will this Saturday lock horns with Nigeria National League side, Jigawa Golden Stars at Minna while Saki United will face Katsina United on Sunday.
