BASKETBALL: ORGANIZERS ANNOUNCE DATE FOR SOUTHWEST SECONDARY SCHOOLS FINAL

The final competition of the maiden edition of the Southwest Secondary schools Basketball Championship will hold as from Tuesday 5th to Saturday 9th July, 2022 at the outdoor court of the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba Ibadan.
The Chairman of the Oyo State Sports Council, Honourable Gbenga Adewusi "Arole" dropped this hint today at the Lekan Salami Sports Council, Ibadan.
Honourable Adewusi disclosed further that the six day tournament will involve the six south western states, namely; Ekiti, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Ogun and Lagos State.
The chairman explained further that the two schools in Oyo State that emerged during the preliminaries are King's International College Moniya, Ibadan and Yejide Girls' Grammer School, Molete Ibadan will represent the state at the tournament.
The regional competition is sponsored by the Southwest Basketball Association.

Okikiola helped his side clinch her first ever federation cup title, scoring three goals in the three all draw, Ilaji FC emegerd champions 5-4 on penalties and will represent Oyo state at the National Federation Cup.
