ANTHONY ENCHO HEAPS PRAISE ON CROWN PLAYERS AFTER WIN OVER ABIA COMETS

Anthony Encho has heaped praise on Crown FC players after their triumph against Abia Comets. The Ajilete Warriors for the first time this season netted four goals at home at the Nigeria National League 2021/22 campaign.
Crown FC comfortably beat Abia Comets at the LAUTECH football pitch, with Ugochukwu Anozie scoring a brace on Thursday morning. Anthony Encho tutored side, who had secured six points on the road pummeled visiting Abia Comets four nil.
Two first half goals from Ugochukwu Anozie at the 8th minute and Sodiq Alamayo 20th minute gave the homers a comfortable first half lead. Lanre Ferinyaro made it three in the 63rd minute before Ugochukwu Anozie got his first brace for Crown FC at the 73rd minute.
Speaking after the game, Anthony Encho was pleased with his side’s overall display, and said the players were determined to get the result.
“The first goal helped us, it came at the right time, at the first ten minutes. We should have score more because there were some half chances that we couldn't convert. Today's match and victory has given us a lot of confidence,” he told OyoSportsNews.
"Promotion ticket is no joke and I'm calling all lovers of Crown FC, football stakeholders in the state and most especially the state government to give us all necessary support and motivation. The league table is very tight at the moment but we are ready and determined to get good results."
"My players did very well today, we dominated every department on the field, I'm happy for Anozie for scoring two goals but generally, the whole team did well."
