It was a star-studded gathering on Sunday evening as celebrities in the entertainment industry and On-Air personalities came together at the first edition of 'Ileya Festival Novelty Match 2022' powered by Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Solat Telecoms Nigeria, Alhaji Ganiyu Hammed as organized by Sola Aiyegbajeje, the CEO of AiyegbaSports Media Concept.
Ibadan Celebrities All Stars captained by award winning comedian 'Peteru' were in actions as they lock horns with Solat Telecoms FC led by C.E.O Solat Telecoms, Alhaji Ganiyu Hammed to mark this year Eld festival.
The match played at the Lekan Salami stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan, saw Solat Telecoms FC comprising Solat Telecoms staff in the country running away with a 2-1 win against the Ibadan Celebrities All Stars.
Some of the media personalities present include Babatunde Saheed 'Mr Sports', Afeez Mohammed 'Cantona', Olawale Hamzat 'Top Striker', Samson Akindele, Abiala Dahunsi 'Kaka', Bolaji Olayemoli, Yussuf Ike, Lanre Agiri, Abass Alago, Obadare Oladosu 'Obasports', Kenny Ogunmiloro, Gbolahan Olalere, David Halfsaint, TheRain, Adekunle Alubarika.
Other notable personalities are; Adebayo Faleke, Samuel and Emmanuel Ibikunle, Samuel Gbesabi, Jibola Akinyefa, Imoyosola Adetoro, Waheed Akintayo 'Ilumoka', Tunde Olawuwo, Tunde Adebajo, and Idis Animasahun.
Comedians such as Dele Omo Woli, Iam Remote and Peteru were all present to display their soccer skills.
Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Solat Telecoms Nigeria, Alhaji Ganiyu Hammed while speaking to OyoSportsNews after the novelty match thanked all participants for honouring his invitation and promised more sporting activities in the state.
Meanwhile, representatives from mobile phone manufacturers such as Samsung, Infinix, Tecno, Itel gifted to players from Ibadan Celebrities All Stars smart phones in appreciation of thier brilliant performances.
