ILAJI FC GRIND OUT KNIGHT FC WIN TO RETURN TO NLO SUMMIT

Oyo state flag bearer at the Nationwide League One, Ilaji FC last Sunday secured second away win of the season with 0-1 in over Knight FC at the Obafemi Awolowo University football pitch.
The scoreline did not tell the full story of a nervy contest in which the league debutant were frustrated through various means at the second half.
After fourteen league matches, the Akanran based side have won eight matches with two draws and four defeats.
With the latest Nationwide League One group C2 standings released Tuesday afternoon, Ilaji FC now occupied first position with 26points and 18 goals advantage.
Meanwhile, another two Oyo state representatives at the Nationwide League One, Ogbomoso United and Pacesetters FC are not finding lives easy at the group C1.

Okikiola helped his side clinch her first ever federation cup title, scoring three goals in the three all draw, Ilaji FC emegerd champions 5-4 on penalties and will represent Oyo state at the National Federation Cup.
