Ilaji FC Coach, Adeniyi Sesan Ogundele has lavished praise on Babalola Okikiola after he scored a hat-trick in Ilaji FC’s triumph at the final of 2024 Oyo State Federation Cup on Sunday.
The tall lanky left back hit two in the first half (31st and 33rd minutes) at the Lekan Salami Stadium befores scoring the thrid from a solo tap in at the 67th minutes.
Babalola Okikiola, after scoring his first goal at Durbar stadium against Iseyin United in the round two of this year edition, had a total of four goals in three matches and was named the highest goal scorer of the competition.
Coach Sesan Ogundele insists Okikiola's form and commitment has been magnificent and great.

“Since I’ve been here, I’ve never seen him like this,” he told OyoSportsNews. “Not him alone, the entire players, the spirit since the start of the federation cup has been fantastic, this is an incredible condition for Okikiola and the squad."
“With the ball and without the ball, he is sharp and intelligent and, of course, his talent to score goals is always there. The pass was so good, but the finishing is outstanding.
“Two of our defenders scored in Oyo against Housing FC and Crown FC, I forseen another defender scoring today but for Okikiola to have score one..two...three....this is great for him and the team."
