Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso Head Coach Raheem Tajudeen has praised his side’s in Nigeria National League matchday three win over Gateway United FC today.Sanni Nurudeen got a brace as the Ajilete Warriors picked up a three consecutive win.
The warriors had defeated FC OneRocket and International Lagos FC in the previous matchday one and two respectively at the ongoing campaign.
Their win has helped them maintain top spot with nine points in three matches on group B2 standings. Osun United, Ijebu United, and other contenders are behind the Ogbomoso based side on the log.
Speaking to OyoSportsNews at the post-match interview, Raheem Tajudeen said;
"It was not an easy win. People might see it more easily than our first match at home but tactically speaking, it wasn't easy at all. They came with a game plan, but my players overpowered them. The first twenty minutes weren't good enough, but it was normal because the team would come out hard in the opening minutes."
"To God be the glory, I know I will win this match, we [technical crew] had done our homework very well and thank God the players rose to the occasion. To be sincere, Gateway United are a good side, they gave us good fight but not our mate. We are warriors we don't lose battle like this."
"The team is improving, I'm super exited with the positive changes and attitude of the players. We'll get better match after match until we get to where we desire."
Raheem Tajudeen, however, assured the Ajilete fans of another three points in Lagos when they play Tradesafe FC.
