Crown FC head coach Raheem Tajudeen has urged his players to forget about the win over International Lagos FC last Saturday and make sure they hold on to their momentum when they face Gateway United on Saturday at the Soun stadium.
The Ajilete Warriors so far are unbeaten in two matches following thier 2-1 win over FC One Rocket in matchday one and another impressive comeback win against International Lagos FC last weekend at Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos.
The Ogbomoso based side lost 1-0 at home to Gateway United FC last season and Raheem Tajudeen wants to make sure history isn't repeated.
"I think it's always important to start off well. We've managed to do that against FC One Rocket, a tough team. We consolidated the form in Lagos against Inter Lagos FC, though a difficult win. Now that this has been done, the players must focus on the next chapter which is against Gateway United FC."
"The players must hold on to their momentum, keep the tempo high and get the result. Two games we had played so far is gone and we are on to the next. We must not underrate Gateway United."
When asked the secret behind his late goals and super subs, Raheem Tajudeen relied OyoSportsNews: "I will definitely keep that to my chest, what is important right now is the target before us. We must score more and not to concede any more, we should be able to kill the game at the first half and cement it at the remaining half."
