OYO PARA ATHLETE CLINCHES GOLD AT OLYMPIC OUALIFIERS

Adesope Waliu Abiola, a 30 year old para table tennis athlete of Oyo State origin has won gold medal at the Para Table Tennis Olympic qualifers held  Egypt from 20 to 30 September,2023.
The prodigy won two gold medals in the standing class, 9 singles and mixed double which qualifies him for the para Olympics games that is scheduled to hold in France in the year 2024.
Earlier, the prolific para player won Gold at the National Para Sports festival held at Abuja, Nigeria in 2023. Similarly, he secured three gold medals at the last  National National Sports festival held in Asaba, Delta State.
