3SC LOCK HORNS WITH PLATEAU UTD ON PREMIER LEAGUE OPENING WEEKEND

Shooting Stars Sports Club will host Plateau United on the opening day of the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The Premier League fixtures released few weeks ago will have all 360 matches across 38 weeks listed.
Both Shooting Stars and Plateau United, seeking redemption after finishing below expectations last season, will look to make a statement when they meet at Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan on the first weekend of the season.
Enyimba FC of Aba, who overcame the challenge of Rivers United to win a ninth title, will not be in action as thier opponent who led the NPFL table for the most part of last season Bendel Insurance will be engaged in continental fixtures.
Remo Stars, who had represented the country at both the CAF Confederation and Champions League in 2022 and 2023 respectively will be on the road to Port Harcourt against former champions Rivers United.
Premier league is back in Lagos following the promotion of Sporting Lagos FC, the Mobolaji Johnson Arena will host Gombe United while Heartland FC will also welcome Lobi Stars.
Former league champions and federation cup winner Rangers International of Enugu will host Doma United FC while Coach Fatia Osho's Akwa United will be at Samson Siasia stadium against Bayelsa United.
