Oye Olohun Travels & Tours Football Club began a two-week leave yesterday after the exertions of the 2023/2024 league season.
Oye Olohun T&T FC came fourth in their debut season of the Nigeria Nationwide League One season held at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan centre between April 21st and May 6th
According to a statement by the club chairman, Alhaji Saliu Tajudeen Kolawole made available to OyoSportsNews. The management thanked the players and coaches for their efforts in the season that ended last Monday. He described the performance of the team as great even when he agreed that much would have been welcomed.
“Let me start by thanking you all for the efforts you put in the ended season. Surely, we would have loved to be table leader of Ibadan centre and proceeded for the playoff, but God knows why we ended this way. I didn't think we had a bad season. To me, we all did well, but there are rooms for improvement going forward."
“As we embark on a two-week break, I urge us to have the needed rest and come back with vigour to challenge on all fronts,” he said.
The Saki based outfit finished fourth on the standings with nine points after seven league matches. They got two wins, three draws, and lost two matches. Players and officials are expected to resume May 20th at the club camp in Saki.
Alhaji Saliu Tajudeen also added the club replica home jersey is on sale for the club fans across the globe for five thousand naira [N5,000.00]. Interested football lovers and fans should contact the Team Coordinator, Mr Ceediq Tajudeen [09028517113].
