COACHING EDUCATION: ONA ARA LG CHAIRMAN, MAKINDE COMMEND DOTUN SANUSI

The newly elected and sworn-in chairman of Ona Ara local government, Honourable Temitope Kolapo [JP] has commended Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland and Chairman, Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Chief Engineer Dotun Sanusi for its strong support and commitment towards discovering and nurturing talents and impacting knowledge to coaches through it annual coahing education and scouting programme.
Honourable Temitope Kolapo made the commendation at the third edition of Ilaji Football Club in conjunction with Swieqi United Football Club Coaching Education and Scouting Programme held ait the mini conference hall of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort.
The new chairman, who was accompanied by the Vice Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government and political head of INUKAN LCDA, Hon. Windapo Oluwole; Ona Ara House Leader, Hon. Abolade Yerima, wards' councillors and other notable figures said the capacity building is the best way to expose coaches on modern coaching practices.
Hon. Kolapo added that the coaching education will improve the living standard of coaches through the benefits from modern football player marketing and how football clubs owners can maximize their income in the modern football business. He also charged the coaches [participants] to imbibe lessons from the programme.
Also speaking at the event, former Oyo State Sports Council general manager, Mr Gboyega Makinde commended Sweiqi United Football Club delegates led by the President, Dr Justin Fenech, the C.E.O, Timothy Gingell, FIFA license agent Patrick Osaweme and Coach Pablo Cesar Doffo alongside Coach Yakub Nuru for retraining the trainers in the round leather game.
