● His full name is Lamidi Mutiu Aderemi

● He was a former Shooting Stars player [Striker/Forward]

● He played alongside Okikiola Afolabi, Diran Odeyemi, Taofeek Adepoju, Yemi Adeyeye, Yomi Adigun, Sanni Ibrahim, Timothy Idogbe, Seun Akinyemi, Ibrahim Babalola, Lateef Adigun, Najeem Kunle Olukokun, Sola Adeboye, and many others.

● He was intrusmental to Shooting Stars promotion in the 2015 under Head Coach Franklin Howard while late Rasheed Balogun was the club General Manager 


● He also played under Coach Gbenga Ogunbote 'The Oracle' in 2015/2016

● He graduated from the Nigeria Institute for Sports [NIS] in 2023 as a certified Coach 

● He completed his internship programme at Osun United under Head Coach Oluseye Ajayi

● His first career as a coach started with Oyomesi Football Club

● He was officially unveiled as Oyomesi FC Head Coach on April 20th, 2024 by the club Chairman Barrister Wakil Oyeleru Oyedemi 
● He led Oyomesi FC to her first league appearance at the Nation-wide League One with four wins, two draws and a loss. - Topping the league table ahead Ogbomoso United.

● He's expected to guide Oyomesi FC to promotion play-off match in Osogbo on May 29 against Akure centre table leader.

● His Role Model is Pep Guardiola. He adopts 4-3-3 formation

Ogunbote rejoined the Oluyole Warriors on August 22nd, 2022, for a third stint following the completion of his one-year contract with Remo Stars, the then league champions. His time with the club has now concluded after two years and eleven months. During his tenure, he led the team to several notable achievements, including winning the Doxy Nmobuosi Super Cup, the Oyo State Federation Cup, and the Seyi Makinde Football Volunteer Movement trophy. The historic parade, the first of its kind in the club’s illustrious history, departed from the iconic Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, and snaked through major streets of Ibadan. It was a spectacle of colours, sounds, and passion as trumpets, vuvuzelas, and talking drums echoed the pride of Oluyole Warriors across the ancient city.
