NNL23: CROWN FC RETURN TO NEW LOOK SOUN STADIUM

Oyo State flag bearer in Nigeria's second tier league, Crown FC of Ogbomoso will begin another life at the Nigeria National League, this time, at their newly refurbished hunting home ground, Soun Township Stadium, Ogbomoso when they face Gateway United FC of Abeokuta on Saturday, March 18, 2023.The Ajilete Warriors have been playing their home matches at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology [LAUTECH] football pitch for the better part of three seasons while reconstruction and upgrading work is being carried out at the Soun Township Stadium.
According to the official fixtures and match venues released by the Nigeria National League body, Crown FC have been approved to return home having met the requirements laid by the NNL inspection team.
OyoSportsNews also gathered that Abubakar Bukola Saraki Football Club (ABS) will make use of Soun Township Stadium for the new season after re-grassing work has commenced at Kwara stadium football field in Ilorin.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria National League kicked off yesterda at Eket stadium with FC One Rocket securing a 2-1 win over Warri Wolves. The remaining matchday one matches will resume on March 18 after Nigeria's Gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections.
