Defending champions Saki United Football Academy are out of this year's Oyo State Federation Cup following their 2-1 loss to Oyo Alaafin FC on Sunday.
Aworinde Tunde's brilliant control and finish in the first minute of action gave Oyo Alaafin the lead while efforts made by Saki United to level up before the break were unfruitful after the first 45 minutes.
Another moment of magic again happened in the 81st minute from Oyo Alaafin FC playmaker Alure, who finds the back of the net from a solo effort.
Saki United under Coach Quosim Iwalewa 'Wallcot' put up a fight to pull one back from an own goal at the 90+1 minutes as the match ended 2-1.
This second-round exit will be a bitter disappointment for Saki United Football Academy, who won the Federation Cup last year for the first time even though they are participating in the Ibadan Football Association (IFA) League.
