Sunshine Stars gaffer Edith Olumide Agoye has reemphasized that he is not at fault for Shooting Stars' poor performances last season [NPFL22] as the Oluyole Warriors continue to struggle at the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League 2022/23 season under Head Coach Gbenga Ogunbote. 
Recall that Shooting Stars escaped relegation last season under Edith Agoye on Matchday 38 despite a defeat to Kano Pillars and the club is not finding life easy at the moment.
The Oluyole Warriors are currently struggling at the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League 2022/23 season after matchday nine. The Ibadan Soccer Lords, so far, have gathered 10 points from two wins, four draws, and three losses.
With the pressure mounting on Ogunbote after signing a year contract on August 22nd, 2022. Seven new players have reportedly resumed training while more players are still expected ahead of the second stanza.
When asked about the current situation of Shooting Stars in the league. Agoye replied: "I'm not the problem at Shooting Stars when I was there, It will be a tough one for me to talk about their situation because right now I'm with Sunshine Stars. All I can say is that I was never the problem with Shooting Stars." He concluded.
