Head Coach, Anthony Encho has outlined Crown FC's preparations, determination and readiness to start the year 2023 well with the Oyo State Federation Cup fixture against Iseyin Rocks FC on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.
For the second time in two years, the Ajilete Warriors under Anthony Encho will be participating in the domestic competition after the last edition didn't go well. However, Anthony Encho will be looking to add a domestic trophy to his achievements, especially in Oyo State.
Recall that Crown FC were bundled out at the last edition by Oyo State Housing Corporation FC via penalties in the round of 8 and Encho has outlined his target for this year's edition.
Ahead of Tuesday's trip to Atori stadium in Iseyin, Encho told OyoSportsNews: "After some decades in a coaching job, I've never underrated or ignored any match, even a friendly match I take all matches seriously. What happened in the last edition is what we do not want to remember but we've been able to learn from it and gain more experience."
"Fortunately for us, it's going to be an added advantage for my players. We are preparing for the Nigeria National League new season and Federation Cup having played some friendlies with desired results. It is a knock-out match, so it means a lot to us, we want to go as far as the final stage and win the trophy."
"Everyone is ready, and the fans and supporters can't wait for the season to start. We want to be the best version of ourselves and By God's grace; we'll give our best every second and minute."
