MAKINDE'S RE-ELECTION : A REWARD FOR DILIGENCE AND PASSION FOR DEVELOPMENT- IFA BOSS

Governor Seyi Makinde's re- election has been described as a reward for diligence and passion for development.
Mogaji Rotimi Alli, the executive Chairman of Ibadan Football Association (IFA) stated this today in a press statement signed by him and made available to journalists.
He explained that Governor Makinde's. diligence at providing high quality but humane governance, unflinching commitment at making life worth living for the people of Oyo State,and a strong passion for massive infrastructural development ensured that he was rewarded with another term of four years by the people of the State.
Mogaji Alli, who is popularly known as Libero particularly mentioned how the state helmsman handled the topical issue of Covid 19 in taking a huge risk by not locking down the State when other governors and even the Federal Government did and put Nigerians through harrowing economic hardship. 
He stressed that Gov.Makinde was one Governor that had impacted positively on all facets of the Society which included Sports, Education,Health,Workers' Welfare and Transportation among other lofty people -oriented projects 
Speaking emphatically on the renovation of Olubadan Stadium and others across the State,Libero observed that the upgrading of sports facilities would keep our teeming youths busy and off the streets.
The IFA boss disclosed that the renovation of Olubadan Stadium was basically the initiative of Gov.Makinde who ranked as the first Governor to consider the foremost Stadium for a facelift in over five decades.
Mogaji Alli also praised Gov.Makinde for ensuring that the darling team of Ibadan, Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) gained promotion back to the NPFL through his financial and moral support to the Oluyole Warriors.
The IFA Chairman,who also is a lawyer, urged residents and indigenes of Oyo State to be prepared for more exploits from the People's Governor as he was ready to take the State to loftier heights in the next four years.
