Crown FC of Ogbomoso midfielder Wasiu Falolu has dedicated his Man-of-the-match award to his teammates and fans as he said the 1-0 win over Edel FC was a collective effort.
Wasiu Falolu's contributions in the midfield helped Crown FC secure a late win against stubborn Edel FC on Saturday at Soun stadium. The Ajilete Warriors needed to consolidate their recent away good runs, and Wasiu was exceptional and intrusmental in the last minute victory.
Wasiu Falolu, whonhas won second Man of the Match award this season said that the team’s togetherness has been key to their recent results in the league and commended the fans, supporters and football lovers of the club for the support, believe and prayers.
"I play for the badge. We all play for the badge. The more we play together, the more fluid we become. I’m standing here now, but this award reflects the whole team’s performance. I want to dedicate this award to my teammates, fans, supporters, and lovers of the club," Wasiu said.

The delegation made up of 10 players and three officials left the shores of Nigeria via a flight from the international wing of the Muritala Mohammad Airport on Tuesday for Lisbon. Prince Ademola Olawepo Shennowo, President of the fast-growing football academy gave an insight into the programme details.  "The scouting program in Portugal is tagged Club Athlectico Trial and it will run for one month.
