Crown FC have comfortably beaten Oyomesi FC  2-0 in this afternoon's 2025 Oyo State Federation Cup semi-final encounter at the Olubadan stadium.
After a goalless first half, it was the Ajilete Warriors who went ahead through Nwaiwu Oyeka"s twenty-five minute after the break.
The Ogbomoso based team doubled the tally from a calmly acrobatic kick from Seye Adegbite to put any nerves to rest in the 75th minute, ensuring that his team will face the winner between Shooting Stars and Oye Olohun FC nor Ilaji FC at the final..
The win was a big relief for Ayodeji Ayeni's boys after crashing out at the knock-out stages in previous three editions. They lost to Oyo Housing on penalties in 2022, crashed out against Iseyin Rocks in 2023 and lost to the defending champions, Ilaji FC last year.

Seye Adegbite has two goals on his name and has been tipped for top scorer award at the final natch. The final match, according to the Nigeria Football Federation will hold February 22nd, 2025 across the nation.

The delegation made up of 10 players and three officials left the shores of Nigeria via a flight from the international wing of the Muritala Mohammad Airport on Tuesday for Lisbon. Prince Ademola Olawepo Shennowo, President of the fast-growing football academy gave an insight into the programme details.  "The scouting program in Portugal is tagged Club Athlectico Trial and it will run for one month.
