Crown FC captain, Ugochukwu Anozie, spoke to OyoSportsNews after Crown FC 1-0 late minute win over Edel FC on Saturday. This is what he said:

We just continued to just play our game. We might be under pressure to score, but we are quite sure we are doing well by creating chances. The only worry is to utilize just one opportunity because they came to defend. We knew they would come for us because of their position on the table. We were in haste and also not panic. We got that goal at the most appropriate time to end the game. After the goal, the final whistle sounded.

We had no problem creating chances and being in possession. We created about 15 chances. All we need to do is utilize those opportunities. Though fatigue may have affected us but we must make sure those opportunities count in no time.
Message to fans...
It was a big win for us. It has consolidated our efforts in Lagos. The fans were solidly behind us during the match. They never stopped chanting us to victory even when we missed chances. We promise to work harder and put smiles on their faces at the end of the season.

The delegation made up of 10 players and three officials left the shores of Nigeria via a flight from the international wing of the Muritala Mohammad Airport on Tuesday for Lisbon. Prince Ademola Olawepo Shennowo, President of the fast-growing football academy gave an insight into the programme details.  "The scouting program in Portugal is tagged Club Athlectico Trial and it will run for one month. "Our technical coaching staff have selected the best for the programme after the 10 talents had undergone intense training to develop their football skills and prepare them for the highest level in games and tournaments against other top football academies in and out of Ibadan."
