OLADEJI JOSHUA REVEALS 'DREAM COME TRUE AFTER WINNING NNL JANUARY GOALKEEPER AWARD

Crown FC goalkeeper Oladeji Joshua has revealed his delight at being named NNL/PROSTAR SPORTS LIGHTHUB Best Goalkeeper for January 2025 at the ongoing 2024/25 season.
The former Gateway United, Warri Wolves and Ekiti United scooped the award, beating the likes of Sunday Odoani of Abia Comets to win the award, largely because of his displays at the Igbajo United and Lagos which helped Crown FC to five consecutive clean sheet and away results.
Oladeji Joshua rejoined Technical Adviser Ayodeji Ayeni having worked together at Ekiti United in 2019.
"It is a dream come true, this has been my target for about three seasons ago. It came at then right time and best moment for me. The team is doing fine in the league its a collective efforts from everyone in the team."
"I'm delighted when I heard the news, goalkeepers' effort and contributions were hardly notice and I'm happy this is happening. As a team, we take each match one after the other with determination and high spirit to win. This is certainly a huge challenge for me; not to relent but keep doing my best.
According a letter signed by the Chief Operating Officer of the Nigeria National League, Dr. Ayo Abdulrahaman, presentation of award will take on Thursday, February 13 at NNL secretariat office, Abuja.

The delegation made up of 10 players and three officials left the shores of Nigeria via a flight from the international wing of the Muritala Mohammad Airport on Tuesday for Lisbon.
