2025 OYO FED CUP KICKS OFF TUESDAY AS OYO FA CHAIRMAN ASSURES OF FREE, FAIR OFFICIATING

As the 2025 Oyo State Federation Cup kicks off this Tuesday for the 2025 President Federation Cup, the Chairman, Oyo State Football Association, HRM Dr Oba James Oluyemi Odeniran, has assured soccer enthusiasts in the Oyo state of good and fair officiating right from the kick-off of the 2025 edition to the final stage.
The retired FIFA referee who was recently conferred a Honourary Doctorate Degree in Community Development by the International Peace and Conflict Management University (IPCMI), Kingdom of Flourishland Australia in Collaboration with Women's Effect Initiative International assured that any members of the Oyo State Football Referee Council involved in the Officiating will employ best practices in the course of discharging their duties.
According to the Alakinyele of Akinyele, the association shall continue to produce credible winners as it has been done in previous three editions.
Recall that Saki United, Shooting Stars, and Ilaji FC were winners in 2022, 2023, and 2024 having defeated Oyo Housing FC, Ilaji FC and Shooting Stars respectively.
Oba James Odeniran also extracted his heartwarming promises that the appointment committee set up for the competition, which will not only maintain free, fair and firm Officiating but also give in their best during the competition.
Meanwhile, Crown FC of Ogbomoso will kick-off the 2025 edition on Tuesday at the Olubadan stadium, Iyaganku Ibadan when when slug it out with Zion-Liberty FC at 3pm.
2024 semi-finalist, Adeyemi FC will host NLO side Oyomesi FC on Wednesday at 3pm at Olubadan stadium while Shooting Stars will welcome Oye Olohun FC on Thursday at 3pm.
