The Ajilete Warriors started well in the opening 30 minutes and were unlucky not to go ahead in the first half as Ayodeji Ayeni's boys settled for a goalles halftime scoreline. Four minutes into the second half, Jonathan Okechukwu gave the visitors the lead through a header from Adekunle Mojeed's corner kick. The homers restored parity at the 57th minute after a defensive mix-up in the box which saw Joshua Oladeji helpless between the sticks. The road accident, which took place on Saturday, the 30th of May, 2025 resulted in the loss of 22 lives, with several others sustaining injuries. Table leaders across centres have been grouped to face each other in different venues for another round-robin format, commencing from June 12, 2025. At Sagamu stadium, Karim Adeyemi FC of Ibadan will begin another journey to securing the promotion ticket when they face Morak FC, Hammola FC and Ekiti United FC. At 1pm on the 12th of June, Adeyemi FC will trade tackles with Morak FC at Ebedei stadium, Sagamu while Hammola FC will host Ekiti United at 3pm.  The second matchday fixtures will see Karim Adeyemi FC hosting Ekiti United at 9am while Morak FC will lock horns with Hammola FC at 11am.
